Who this policy covers
Quiet Time Daily is operated by iRoxanne Studio. This policy covers readers of our shared devotionals, Bible studies, Scripture, and prayers, as well as email subscribers and people who contact us. Reading does not require a reader account. We do not currently offer reader journals, saved personal reflections, or prayer-request submissions.
Information you provide
For email subscriptions, we store your email address, subscription status, consent and confirmation records, unsubscribe information, and records of the devotional emails sent to you. For contact inquiries, we receive the name, email address, topic, and message you provide. Email verification also processes a temporary verification code and its expiration time. Please avoid including sensitive personal information or information about others that is not needed for your inquiry.
Technical information and reading preferences
Base44 provides page-visit logging for this site. Visiting a page sends its page name to Base44; service requests also carry technical information such as your IP address and browser request information. The app stores your selected Bible translation and narration voice in your browser. Hosting and delivery services may maintain operational and security logs.
How we use information
We use information to provide the website, deliver requested subscription emails, confirm email addresses, respond to inquiries, remember reading preferences, understand site usage, prevent duplicate email delivery, honor unsubscribe requests, and protect the service. Where a legal basis is required, we rely on consent for optional email subscriptions, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service and answering inquiries, and applicable legal obligations.
Email subscriptions and unsubscribing
Subscription emails include devotionals, Bible study updates, and faith-based encouragement. The current automated delivery sends a devotional when a new daily devotional is published. Public signup requires confirmation by email. Every subscription email includes an unsubscribe link, and you do not need an account to use it. Unsubscribing stops subscription emails; it does not automatically delete your record or prevent a reply to an inquiry you initiate. Contact devotions@qtdaily.com for help or to request deletion.
Providers and information sharing
We use Base44 and its service providers for hosting, data storage, email delivery, usage logging, and related app functions. Public pages also request fonts from Google Fonts, some images from Unsplash, and Bible content from jsDelivr and bible.helloao.org. When these resources load, their providers receive technical request information. Optional audio features process the text being read and selected voice through speech services. We disclose information needed to deliver these features and respond to inquiries, and may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights and security. The current app does not include advertising pixels or a feature that sells subscriber records.
Cookies and browser controls
Browser storage remembers reading preferences, and platform cookies or similar technologies may support site operation and security. You can clear site data or restrict cookies through your browser, though doing so may reset preferences or affect features. The app's page-visit logger sends page names without adding an analytics cookie of its own. Our subscription templates do not add email-open tracking pixels; email delivery providers may process delivery and operational records.
Retention and deletion
Subscriber records remain stored until removed; opting out changes subscription status rather than automatically deleting the record. We keep subscription and delivery information to operate the service, document consent, and honor opt-outs. Contact correspondence remains in the receiving mailbox unless removed. There is no automatic timed deletion schedule for these app records. You may request deletion at devotions@qtdaily.com. Requests are reviewed under applicable law; limited records may need to be retained to respect opt-outs, meet legal obligations, protect security, or resolve disputes. Provider backups and operational logs may follow separate retention cycles.
Security and international processing
Access to subscriber records in the app is restricted to administrators and the service functions that manage subscriptions. Base44 provides platform security safeguards. No internet transmission or storage method can guarantee complete security. iRoxanne Studio operates in the United States, and service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. Base44's Data Processing Addendum describes its provider obligations and mechanisms for international transfers.
Your privacy choices
You can unsubscribe from emails and change or clear browser-stored reading preferences. Depending on your location and the law applicable to this service, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of information; withdraw consent; restrict or object to processing; or complain to a privacy regulator. Send requests to devotions@qtdaily.com. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and will respond within applicable legal time limits. Where available under applicable law, you may appeal a decision by replying to our response and asking for a review. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Children
Quiet Time Daily is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact devotions@qtdaily.com so we can investigate and arrange appropriate deletion.
External websites and updates
External websites have their own privacy practices. We may update this policy when our service or practices change, revise the effective date, and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law.
